The spring tension is way too tight; it’s causing my door handles to snap because of it! I feel ripped off. I bought for my truck I am fixing and didn’t install right away so I can’t return? The product does not work!

Works to an extent, I think I may have gotten a defective one. Go to open the door from the outside, if you push too hard the spring acts up. If I open the door carefully soft it works

Seems like good quality but only time will tell. I was originally just looking for the cable as mine has stretched a little over the past 30 years. Not hard to install, but be ready to spend some time getting everything lined up.

I installed this on a 94 f150 everything was fine at first no issues was testing it inside and outside make sure it would release and everything. Well something was defective in the latch cause it was stuck closed when I tried opening from the inside for a second time so I ripped it out and put the old one back on that atlest releases unlike this new one. Would NOT recommend at all save your money
