Put this on my 03 Cummins. Replaced existing 4” Aero turbine muffler. So much quieter in the cab but still has really nice sound outside. Will be towing the fifth wheel this weekend and expecting cab drone to be virtually gone. Would have gave it 5 stars but the muffler had a small dent upon arrival.

I put this on a Dodge/Cummins diesel with 4″ pipe back from the turbo. It had a straight through muffler that was just unbearable. This one was the highest attenuation Donaldson available that would fit. It is much quieter, but still a lot louder than stock. Had no affect on power.

My truck had the large exhaust drone at highway speeds, this muffler seems to make the truck quieter the more load on the engine. Looking at the specs from Donaldson it should be true. More air flow, more db drop.

I ended up having to return the muffler because I was confident it would fit but in the end it was to long. I ended up going with a different Donaldson muffler but same design thats shorter. I ended up installing this on a 2500hd 2005 silverado GASSER. Its turbo charged with a 4in exhaust and this muffler coupled with a resonator got rid of all the drone and made the truck almost as quiet as OEM. Very impressed. I was also impressed with the customer service I received when returning the muffler since I had thrown away the original box and had to make my own. They accepted it and got my money back right away.

This is the 51” big boy. Went up and clamped in nicely to my existing 4” exhaust. Works awesome and quieted down my 92 w350 extended cab nicely. I can let it warm up and not wake up the neighborhood and I can hear myself think when I drive down the road
