I love magnetic holders, when they work… I had been using an older style one (round disc) for about 2 years until the plate became unglued and I couldn’t get my phone/case to stay on. I saw cases with internal magnets built in and found one made by this company on AMZ. I decided to upgrade my round disc air vent holder to this model. This bad boy’s holding power is super strong. Phone hasn’t fallen or twisted out of place once. And the way it’s designed, it holds the phone away from the air vent so it’s not blocking air flow. My old disc had the phone blocking the air vent. The way it secures to the vent is pretty strong too. There’s a built in grove to fit directly into my vent and a lever to lock. The two legs which add stability to it though don’t work for my air vent so unfortunately I lost the use of that component.

I am so happy I found this phone mount! My 2013 Prius has NO DASHBOARD space for a mount. I tried three different mounts I already had and no configuration would work. This mount has almost no footprint, attached very securely to the (very oddly shaped) car vent, and can be manipulated to hold your phone in whatever angle/position you want! If this didn’t work I was going to have to try one of those ridiculous looking, long-armed, windshield suction cup mounts but I didn’t want anything like that blocking my view. I really like this this mount, would hands down but it again if needed, and would be shocked if there was car model this mount didn’t work in.

I paired this with Dockem’s Luxe M2 Wallet case. The product is very sturdy and high quality. Doesn’t feel ‘cheap’. Holds the iPhone 12 very well.

I couldn’t find a good place to use this in my Toyota Tundra. The ideal spot would have been on the air vent to the right of the steering wheel. Unfortunately, this placed my phone right in the path of my truck’s large transmission gear selector (which is mounted on the steering column). Might work better in a car that has a transmission gear selector on the center console. Appears well constructed.

I was looking for a new cell phone mount for my car and have always wanted to try magnetic mounts. Most magnetic mounts prevent charging on the wireless Qi adapters so I was happy to see and try this one. I also bought “Dockem Luxe M2 Card Case for iPhone 11 Pro” which paired well. So far I’m pretty happy with the setup. The magnet on the mount is super strong so removing the phone only works using two hands (one hand to hold the mount and the other to remove phone). The twisting motion that the company recommended didn’t work for me as the mount would twist along with it.

Figured I would give this a try since the phone case was a good purchase.
This item is not sturdy enough to hold up an iPhone 11 pro. The swivel arm does not have enough resistance built into it to prevent it from drooping down when you attach your phone to it. If you were to hit even the slightest flaw in a road, the phone would fall off of it onto the floor beneath your feet. Also, the grip for one of the lower ‘brace’ legs does not stay put either and fell out from the moment this device came out of its box. Good concept, poor construction/design/engineering.
Would not recommend. The item was returned.

Love it, love it, love it…..LOVE IT! Out of all the cell phone holders I’ve had, this one so far is the best. My last vent magnetic cell phone holder completely covered the air vent so in the summer time, I wasn’t getting any air. With this vent, it provides a clearance from the vent, which allows air to pass through and for the vent to still be adjusted from side to side. The magnets are super strong and it holds my phone securely. I also love the fact that I have better access to the phone with this extended style vent.
