i have a couple other handles similar to this one, but without question, this is the best. The latches are adjustable for perfect tightness. I’ve never seen that before. The handle is very lightweight, and it extends much longer than I really need. The brush seems to be of good quality, too, but I am a bit hesitant to use it on automotive painted surfaces. Nevertheless, it will work really well for wheels and tires. Others might find the squeegee edge useful; I’m not so sure about that, but we shall see. Anyway, I’m pleased to have this brush/handle for washing my car and pickup truck.

I’m not even sure where to start. This brush is nothing short of fantastic. I know it’s expensive, but it’s also worth every penny (and more) in my opinion. The brush itself is pretty standard. The bristle fibers are densely packed, providing incredibly smooth wash area and leaves no untouched spots. But the pole…the pole is where this setup shines brightest. The pole is a high-quality carbon fiber. This means it is light. SUPER LIGHT. It’s also incredibly strong when extended. You can reach clear across the car with it extended and it DOES NOT BEND. I know with some longer, extending poles you feel like you can’t really scrub because the pole bends. This pole isn’t that. Not even close. You will LOVE cleaning your vehicle, boat, eves, anything honestly because it will be so much more easy with this brush.
In summary, if you are on the fence…buy it. If you think you may not need it…you do.

I got the 3FT 2-in-1 Brush. When extended fully, it can reach 3ft. It’s carbon fiber but I can’t really tell that it’s lighter than my other brushes. The brush head is quite heavy. The pole has locking tabs that hold each segment securely in place. It’s a good quality and strong pole. The bristles feel soft enough, similar to the ones at self-serve car wash bays. The product information page recommends soaking the brush for 3-5 minutes before use “to prevent lint from forming during use” but I am not sure how or why lint will form on the brush head. The other function is the built-in squeegee which is helpful for large glass panels like panoramic sunroofs. Overall, I am pleased with this car wash brush.

Nice little handle brush for auto and home use!
Pros:
– Bristles are intentionally frayed at the tips to soften the fibers. This should reduce the chance of scratching painted finishes and improve the cleaning ability.
– Perimeter of the brush head has a bonded rubber squeegee which reduces the chance of hard plastic impacts and marring surfaces you’re trying to clean. Also works to clear water from surfaces – but it’s pretty stiff as a squeegee.
– The extension pole is not super long – 3 feet as described. But I like not having a really long handle swinging around behind me when I’m close-in. It adds about 3 feet of reach, which works for my small RV.
Cons/Mixed:
– The extension pole is very light, but the brush head itself is a bit heavy, so it feels top heavy. But that’s part of having a short 3FT handle. If you had a longer/heavier handle it would balance better, but then you have to watch your background with the extra handle length – so it’s a known tradeoff.
– The fibers are plastic, and densely packed, so they tend to hold on to dirt and grit. Good for scrubbing, but you’ll want to rinse the brush well periodically to avoid rubbing grit around on your paint surfaces. Personally I’ll use this on my RV, and pickup, but I will stick to a soft wash mitt for higher end vehicles. You can be the judge.

Doben’s 12 ft Carbon Fiber Car Wash Brush with Long Handle really does have soft bristles and is nicer than I expected. The handle arrives in its own sleeve and then you attach the brush to it. Really like the long 12-ft handle, which is kinda slick but also has a very slight texture so it won’t slip out of your hand. It is lightweight too. Will be great for car washes when summer arrives. Yes, it is pricey, but would make a very good gift for someone who is into cars that wants to take extra good care of their vehicle by washing it themselves.

this extension pole makes it easy to reach every corner of the car and sometime also useful in household. Not at all heavy to carry and swings perfectly. Easy to attach and remove the brushes.

I received this with literally just a pole. The brush attachment was not in the package. It also took over a month to arrive and the package actually looked like it had been run over by a truck.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very high quality product. The brush holds suds VERY well, the squeegee is nice, the pole is very strong and sturdy and the reach length is about perfect. But lightweight??? I have to VEHEMENTLY disagree. My first thought after extending the thing and motioning like I was washing a car was, “dang this thing is heavy!” I thought to myself, this would get exhausting after just a few minutes. I have other extending poles that use the same locking mechanisms as this, but they’re made of aluminum and they are extremely lightweight. I think maybe aluminum would’ve been the way to go here too??
They swear up and down this is real carbon fiber, and maybe it is, but it doesn’t look like it and man does it feel heavy. The poles have ridges on them, a helical inclined plane (a screw) that makes a “zip” sound when you extend and retract them. No sign of the characteristic weave of carbon fiber.
In conclusion, it’s nice, it really is, but I think aluminum would’ve been a better, lighter solution from which to make the poles. I think that would’ve made it much lighter and just as corrosion resistant. But honestly, for the price, I think it’s a good value.
