Purchase for my 07 x3 because bmw oem cost 650$ from bmw. This sensor would not clip in to my wire hardness all the way. And when I started the vehicle it just died out right away. In my opinion go out and purchase a more high quantity sensor. Orr hit a scrap yard for a used one

I purchased this MAF sensor and when received the wires along the left side of the sensor were bent making the part defective and unable to be used- return the defective part and asked for another to be sent…this part also arrived defective. Not worth the time or trouble. Ended up just going to my local parts store and getting one from them.

First off always disconnect your battery before installing any sensor. As far as dna products this sensor as well as a map sensor I replaced were trash quality. I should’ve taken pictures of my OEM one in comparison so you could see for yourself the lack of quality and craftsmanship if you own a BMW just bite the bullet and use OEM parts these cheapo parts are only going to drive you mad

Product doesn’t allow the connector to clip in all the way so when you start the vehicle it will just die after a couple seconds. I recommend going on Rock auto website and getting an OEM replacement for a couple hundred bucks
