I liked the quality

Sometimes what looks like a quality regulator has fatal flaws. Anyone that’s had a BMW and replaced the regulators themselves with non-factory replacements knows this. That being said, if you look up this company DNA on the web, you will find some pretty awful reviews. However, the part in the picture looked pretty good, and the price was cheap, so I ordered one.
To my surprise this one looks like very good quality; definitely better than average. It also has a design with the cable on the reverse side of the track, which holds it in place better and does not make noise as it crosses cable guides like the usual design. The metal is a little beefier than many of the cheapo ones. It fit perfectly when I installed it. The stock motor was a bit difficult to get screwed on all of they way, but I eventually got it, and it’s very secure. It’s not coming off. I lubed up the track with silicon lube and the result is a window that goes up and down fast, smooth and quietly. It works better than the stock regulators left in other windows. Operates better than new. I just hope it holds up. You all know how these go. I’ll report back down the road some time. The price was so good I bought a second for a backup.
Uodate: FYI the regulator I have is for a 2003 525i. I think it’s the original DNA design. Now on the sane pafe as before they’re showing an X5 regulatot instead. I don’t vouch for that one.
