Installed this on a 2001 Mercury 150HP Saltwater Outboard 3-ram system. It was a direct replacement, and a breeze to install. We used the existing two bolts. The motor did include a new o-ring but no hardware.
So far it works great, and appears solid. We’ll see how it handles the saltwater over time, granted we rinse after every outing.

Great quality for affordable price

I bought this mercury trim motor August 11 2011 and it lasted less than 2 years. It rusted to the point where water gets in and will not work unless it is tapped with a hammer. The original trim motor lasted 13 years.
I called to see if they would do anything and the answer was no. I asked to get the number to the manufacturer and they said it is an overseas company, no number give to me after asking twice.

Looked like a good piece out of the box. Only been on my boat for two days but so far works great. Hoping it lasts.
