I’ve had to replace several of these starter/generators in EzGo TXT carts at a golf course. Note: older TXT carts use a larger silver pulley, while newer carts use a smaller gold pulley (shown in the picture for this item). I needed the gold pulley shown but got the larger silver one (this has happened 3 out of 4 times I’ve ordered these). If this happens to you, the easiest way to deal with it is to use the silver pulley and go up to a 36” belt. The belt you will need is A34. (The original belt is 1/2” x 35”) This seems to be a universal belt number, but definitely what NAPA calls it. Do not bother to try and switch the pulley with the one you have. Odds are they are mounted to the shaft differently. I’m giving this 4stars because you can’t trust the picture, had to spend an extra $12 and a trip the two auto parts stores to do the job, not because of any problem with the motor itself.
