Not easy to install but that is not the starters fault, worked as expected. Best price I found, am holding my breath to see how long before it fails but so far so good

The starter on my wife’s Hyundai Sonata stopped working and I found that all starters available at the local automotive parts stores were very expensive. I took a risk and bought this one. At 1/3 the cost it was a great deal. It’s been installed and working perfectly for about a week now.

I have installed these products in my 2 SONATAS. Both of them are okay with starting the vehicles, though. I sometimes feel a little bit of longer starter motor turning before the car starts. Other than that, It will do what it is supposed to do.

I purchased this product in September 2019 and in March of 2020 the starter stopped working. I checked everything in my vehicle and took the starter out and had it tested at Auto Zone. Auto zone tested it and stated the gears weren’t turning and it was faulty. When I wrote the seller they stated I could return the starter because it was well within the 1 year warranty. I paid $20 to have the part shipped back and the seller stated it was working fine. If it was working fine my vehicle would have started and Auto Zone wouldn’t have told me the gears weren’t working properly. They said I could have the part back but I would have to pay to have the broken part shipped back to me. 5 months of having this starter and it was faulty and the company didn’t follow through with their warranty. Would not buy again and be aware of the year warranty, because they MAY or MAY NOT honor it.
