Snug fit over the spark plugs. So far everything works well.

I have a 25-year-old Mercury Grand Marquis. It is my ice cream/Sundy go to meeting car. Anyway, it had a misfire due to a bad coil. Decided to replace all the coils with these. They work and the car runs great. Only two small complaints about the design. One, the pins are smaller than the OEM coils, don’t know it that make a difference. Two, there is no detent or catch for the connector to latch onto. They fit snug though. It wasn’t a problem on other 4.6L engines I’ve used them on. I’ll update if there are issues. I don’t expect any.

Absolute crap. Replaced the two coil packs that where failing and here we are 6 months later and the same two i replaced just failed again.
