Attempted to install into a 1998 Toyota Camry 2.2L with the 4 speed automatic and the gear stem on the sensor was half a millimeter to long causing the sensor to not sit flush on top of the transmission.
Juan Manuel Gonzalez –
El sensor no entraba en la transmisión

.This sensor fit perfectly, and fixed my speedometer problem – at less than HALF the cost through a local auto parts retailer!

Good quality but my 96 Camry 2.2l rejected the part. Engine light came on until I put original part back on after cleaning it. Light Engine gone. Did not work. One star for good quality but useless. 😞

Worked fine in my vehicle, wasn’t the one I needed but still installed and worked fine

I saw one other review that this happened. WARNING!!! This part is junk. while I was installing the sensor the top half of the sensor broke off. I hand started the bolt then using only my fingers not my wrist attempted to snug it with a ratchet. While tightening the ratchet the cast aluminum broke leaving just the lower portion of the sensor in the transmission. I had very little material to grab on to remove the remaining portion. It was tough , but I finally managed it to remove it from the transmission. Words to the wise found another sensor not this junk.

Had to use the parts out of this one and put it in my old one so it would fit in transmission. But it fixed my soeed odometer.

product did not fit to oem spec. it stands out like 1/8″ and wont seat flush into the differential. not only that, but i tried just plugging in the sensor and spinning the gear and its not even sending electrical signal to the dash. Not one part of this sensor worked and now I have to order a new sensor again.
