I purposely waited over a month and about 3,000 miles later to see if these worked. They are perfect with no complaints. It’s like a new vehicle suspension all over again. They have done a great job building these. Get the sway bars, and a wheel alignment after installation. You will be all set!

Was hesitant , bought rotors and pads all around and shocks and struts all around….very very pleased

These struts we’re install an in under 200 miles they started sounding like an old door with rusty hinges. I took my car to two different cars shops and both said the bearings that are sealed in the top of the struts are bad. That since they had so few miles on them they are probably defective. I contacted Detroit Axel at least three times. First they had to check the warranty. Next their under warranty and someone from their team would be contacting me with the details to return them. After about two weeks of not hearing from them I contacted them to find out why I hadn’t been contacted. I was told that someone tried but had to leave a voicemail. I asked when this took place? I researched my call logs and voice mails on that date. There was no record of the call which I informed them of that. I left a second number to my wife. I was told I would get another call. Two weeks later I’m still waiting on that call. I then did what I should have done in the first place. Check reviews. The one review that stood out is from the Better Business Bureau. Detroit Axel has an “F” rating with the BBB. Detroit Axel has had 121 complaints made against them in the last three years. Mine is going to be 122. I do not recommend buying from this company.

Made my 2010 Dodge Avenger ride like a Dream… I didn’t want to write a reviw until I got to get a good ride in. I def would buy from seller again. Even at high speeds with old tires my ride was much smoother. Now with my new tires, I want to drive everywhere. Def recommend.

Received the product within the time they specified.
Only issue I had was some of the bolts on the top of the front struts would seem striped out on bolt/nut so you couldn’t snug that down as tight as required. I used some blue Loctite just to ensure it would stay in place with all the vibrations.
Overall cost was the selling point for me as it would have cost around $ 150.00 per strut OEM replacement for me vehicle , These look to be quality parts and my Dodge Avenger now rides a lot smoother than it did with the original suspension. I do feel some slight bouncing but I expect that to go away after the shocks have had some more mileage put on them.
Replacement took about 30m – 1hr per Strut depending on what you have available for tools .
Tools Required : 10mm , 15mm , 21mm , T30 Torx Bit , Jack Stand x2 , Floor Jack , 15mm Wrench , Breaker Bar or Impact recommended, Torque wrench
** Be very careful when removing the T30 Torx Bit so you do not strip it and make a 2hr job into a few day mission**
I would recommend these as a replacement for anyone who is on a budget and looking to keep the car driving smooth as a low cost.

Do not buy these. I repeat, do not buy. Bite the bullet and get the name brand. Installed these on my daughter’s avenger, immediately the front strut bearings were making popping and clunking noises. Assuming they’re just slapping these things together with low grade or used bearings. Absolutely awful junk. 22 year vet in the field of wrenching, suspension work and collision repair. I should’ve known better. Customer service is a joke as well, all is conducted through Amazon message center and they want me to email invoices saying the bearings are bad, but guess what? You can’t send an attachment through Amazon message center. What a joke…. never again. Save yourself the trouble and buy Monroe or KYB.
