Quisiera que el fabricante se comunicara conmigo porque es cuestión de seguridad para la vida de las personas. Utilicé el producto en un Audi A3 2.0 2007 TFSI un auto que desarrolla velocidad. Los cartuchos se instalaron en un taller certificado. Después de utilizar el auto, noté que tenía algo que antes no tenía, a pesar que el amortiguador estaba malo, en cualquier bache se oía un ruido, de golpe fuerte. Lo llevé al taller y descubrieron que el neumático estaba pegando con la carrocería cuando el auto pasaba por un obstáculo. Diagnosticaron que eran los espirales vencidos o que no eran los adecuados para ese auto. Desarmaron todo y compararon con los cartuchos que se habían quitado. Resultado: los espirales son menos pesado, más delgados y les falta media vuelta. Cómo no tenía otra alternativa disponible, volvieron armar todo, pero esta vez, utilizando los espirales viejos que son reforzados. Resultado: el auto ahora está bien, levantó 4 centímetros y me siento seguro. Me tomo este tiempo, para que otros en el futuro eviten un accidente fatal a alta velocidad, para que Amazon tome seriamente nota de esto ya de una u otra forma está involucrado y para que el fabricante lo tome muy en cuenta, debe garantizar vidas. Estoy a sus órdenes para aclarar sinceramente todas sus dudas. Si creen que tengo razón en lo que dijo, también estoy aquí. Gracias.

EDIT: So far so good. Hopefully they don’t have issues like others have had.

one of the two struts i bought has a popping issue. on large bumps or swells in the road it works just fine. on minor things like cracks in the road where there is a very short but quick movement, the strut makes a popping noise. After an hour or so of driving, the noise goes away. presumably due to warmer fluid in the strut due to use? After the car sets for a while, the noise will return again until having been driven a while. I am presuming the strut may warm up after an hours use and cool down after sitting a while. Something inside the strut appears to be temperature sensitive.

These may appear to be American made but are only distributed out of Michigan. These are just your avg “made in China” quick struts. Don’t expect much for the money you pay. The springs are not OE spec. They work but are not factory by any means. I suggest spending money on OE replacement strut.
