Elvis Morris –
I installed the struts on my wife’s 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and the were an exact fit for the originals. They were as easy yo install as one would expect. They do seem to have some rattling noise when driving over rougher pavement. All fasteners have been rechecked and everything is tight to speck. Had front end aligned as recommended and nothing negative was said by the shop so they must be installed right. I will recheck fasteners and other components after some miles driven and see if I can isolate the source of the noise. Not unhappy but would have liked a little quieter ride. Alignment shop found inner and outer tie rod ends in need of replacement. I had those done so the noise is not coming from them.

I was quoted about $800 to replace front struts and sway bar end links. Ordered these for my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan and saved a ton of money on the parts plus I did the installation on my own via YouTube videos . Our van rides very smooth and quiet now. If the bolts on the top plate don’t line up with your vehicle you may need to use a long screwdriver to wedge across the bolts and slowly twist until the bolts align with holes. One of my strut assemblies was perfectly aligned out of the package, the other needed to be adjusted using this method. Installation took me about two hours. I also ordered sway bar end links and installed at the same time.
Be sure to go back and torque the top plate nuts a second time after installation – maybe after driving 100-200 miles. Two of the nuts on one strut had loosened unexpectedly but are now holding after I tightened them again. This is normal, especially if the strut needs to settle in or wasn’t seated correctly upon installation. Suspensions take a beating and even movement a fraction of a millimeter can result in a loose bolt and you just need to check it after installation to be sure.
Longevity is unknown at this point as we’ve only put about 3,500 miles on our van since installation. Overall VERY happy with these struts at this price point. If they don’t hold up I will update this review.

Easy to install

They were average to put on but on there so loud when we hit a little bump. If they weren’t on already I’d pay a little more for better ones.

Excellent product, restored the height and ride quality of our minivan.
Pro-Tips:
Use of air tools is recommended for this job. Lower nuts/bolts tend to get pretty rusty being exposed to the elements.
When taking the old unit out, make sure to compare it to the unit you are installing and ensure that the top plate bolts are in the same position, if not, spin the top plate until they are. You cannot install these incorrectly, it just makes the installation go a bit easier.
Bolts on the lower mount are pressed in. Use a heavy hammer to knock them out once the nuts have been loosened.
Use PB Blaster to soak the nuts on the lower mount, as they are likely to be very rusted. It may also be necessary to heat the nuts with a torch if a couple of treatments with the PB Blaster don’t do the trick.
The sway bar link arm is secured to the middle mount on the quick strut with a bolt that has a T-40 (Torx) insert to spin the bolt. This was the most difficult piece to remove as it was very rusted. Buy a heat treated T-40 bit that mounts to a ratchet and soak the piece multiple times with PB Blaster to ensure easy removal. If the torx piece is too rusted, you can also place a vice grip on the back side of the bolt, where there is a flattened part of the bolt just for this purpose and spin the nut off that way.
Also, when installing the bottom bolt on the lower mount, try to make sure it is in the middle of the elongated hole, this will get you as close as possible to correct alignment.
Make sure to take your vehicle to a shop to get an alignment after installation or you may do serious damage to your tires due to misalignment.
