The color was a near match, that was good. But, no matter how I prepped the carpet, this product did not dye anything. It ended up as a powder on the surface that was easily vacuumed up.

Although a staple in the automotive industry for decades, it’s difficult to find a fabric spray to match household carpeting colors. This one worked out very well. Hopefully the minor cost will save me my considerable security deposit after a bleach accident on my brand new carpeting. Shipping seemed a bit slow yet, worth the wait.

To begin with the product arrived after the projected delivery date. I bought this to touch up some home carpet which it says it will do. The results were completely unacceptable. The stuff clumps up on the carpet fibers. Doesn’t spread evenly. Might work better on automotive carpet. But forget home carpet. Save your money!

BE CAREFUL – If you are covering a small spot, this WILL spray outside of the area you are covering if used as directed. I wish that I would have sprayed closer, because now my carpet has a huge spot on it – much bigger than the bleach stain I was trying to cover. Aside from that, this was a good product. My carpet looks a lot better than it did before, even with the larger spot. It isn’t that noticeable since the colors were pretty close.
