2002 Chrysler Town and Country, eL model, flex fuel, 3.3l V6 engine:
Not knowing any better, I needed to replace mine, so I went with one from a local (but nationwide) parts store. It was a Bosch (no offense to them). After I installed it, the check engine light stayed on for a week then all was good until the thermometer went down below freezing. The light came back on again. I knuckled under, and bought this one. As others have said it bolted right in and after I reset the ECU, the light has been off. I wish I had gone with this one first. One thing I will say is to first make sure you check the VIN with a dealer or reputable parts store. (Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, Pep Boys, etc. will just look your vehicle up by year and grab the part off the shelf… Not ideal.) This model year had one of two unique O2 sensors. You need to get it right.

Direct replacement for 2002 Chrysler Town and Country 3.8 up-stream sensor. OEM part identical (also Denso), except for an additional spring, which can be transferred easily. When replacing, it is best to use a deep 7/8″ sensor socket with some long extensions from above. Once loose, one should be able to untwist the rest by hand. Connector easier to reach from below. New connector has necessary points to attach to chassis. Includes some copper paste for anti-seize. I replaced my original after 130K miles as preventative maintenance. Noticed very mild improvement in running conditions since.

It correctly replaced the failed sensor in 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan.
Check engine light is now out. Runs just fine.
