This product eliminated a lot of code faults. Awkward to get at to change, but once in the vehicle ran much better.

DOA part from Delphi for 98 Astro van for customer. From experience this is not the first time I’ve had Delphi products not working right out of the box. No damage to box or part on arrival, in original bubblewrap packaging. Remember to use AC Delco folks.
P.S. to the many inexperienced DIY’ers and part-swappers, original product out of factory for these modules where made by AC Delco in Singapore (and I think Indonesia as well). Just because a product is made in an Asian country does not mean it is poor quality, we must look at the QC from these part suppliers and companies and blame them for these dumb parts.

Part was DOA. Seller did at least work with me to get a partial refund. Like any electrical component, you take a risk with online purchases.

Corre genial en Mi Camaro z28 1996 5.7 el encendido es fuerte y se mantiene perfecto, si pueden compren en conjunto Modulo de Encendido y Bobina de Ignición, es lo mejor que le puede pasar a tu auto.

perfect fit on my 1997 gmc 1500 4.3 2wd pickup. for a long time it wouldnt start up right away, eventually to where it wouldnt start. checked a few things, crank sensor was bad too (250k miles). changed both icm and crankshaft sensor. everything is working great! price was cheaper here than auto parts store and i have a commercial acct with an auto parts store

Bought this for Chevy Silverado 2007 V6 4.3.
Amazon does not recognize it to work with Silverado 2007 Classic. But they say it fits 2006 year. The Classic 2007 and “normal” 2006 are the same. I checked other sites for compatibility and they all say it fits for Silverado 2007 Classic and 2006. I believe it should work for silverado1999-2006 plus 2007 Classic. So I bought it.
First time I bought it “used Good” the ICM did not work at all. I got a replacement (used good) and it looked different and worked. It seems to me, someone returned the first item I got with his old broken one for credit, ha!
BTW, first I purchase an ICM off brand and even so they sad it works for my Silverado Classic 2007, it fixed the “no spark at all problem which meant cranking no start”, but it was throwing an Engine light and Code P0351. This item fixed the Code 0351 too.
It came with the thermal grease. Well the grease came with the second one I got and not the first.

Fixed death after warmup issue. Evidently Big Box brand had poor QC or poorly built. If your Truck Starts and Runs then mysteriously shuts off and then restarts after letting it cool back down look at this! (If you replace ICM replace Coil too). I was all over a Fuel issue but NO! Replaced Fuel Reg, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Spider Injectiors,Distributor ….checked pressure etc. ( Needed New Injectors anyhow so no big deal on that.)
Stick with AC Delco or Delphi brand on this part……fair warning 😉 Interesting note is that during the Winter when I replaced with Big Box brand no problem…wasn’t until Intense Southern Heat caused this Issue to manifest itself…..go figure.So far so good. This part on Amazon is lower priced than the Big Box Brand. I got a refund from Big Box.

Made well, good brand product, price was good, I replaced this when I replaced fuel pressure regulator, good time to replace it, I had to remove the intake, so coil, module got replaced too.
