Rather than creating the intended effect of how this sensor should work(I won’t go into the details) but basically it does create a moving resistance value thus ecu keeps the same value that will never change, even when voltage is applied (5v). If you guys want a more detailed answer to your issue, I would certainly be willing to help correct the issue.

Works perfectly on my 2001 Chevrolet Blazer with the 4.3l

Exact fit. New life to the 96 Tahoe LT 4wd, runs great again

I bought one that was a “GM” replacement part and it didn’t last long. Found out Delphi is the ACTUAL GM part and been good ever since.
Serge Chamsi –
Just like original, fraction of the price.

On map sensors just get oem. You are safe from worry and they work.

Great choice. Easy install and perfect fit. Changed it out due to multiple upgrades on my GM Motor. Figured I would change it out now, then down the road in about 20 or 30k miles. Be careful with the tabs and look up the youtube video to be careful not to break plastic tabs.

Bought an off-brand map sensor from another company because it was cheap. Bad idea. The sensor was bad and went I took it off the manifold, it split in two. It wasn’t even two months old. Bought the Delphi sensor and worked great! Some things you just can’t go cheap on.

This is the correct and right part especially for any GM 3800 series. Works excellent for 2000 model year Impala 3.8 L36.
If you having issues with hard starting, after engine starts it stalls, or after starts runs rough and takes about 30 seconds or so to smooth out but still gives you horrible gas mileage and oscillates; you have a bad MAP sensor and it’s important too replace it with a name brand unit such as this one.

Installed in a 2005 Deville DTS. Part was delivered quickly and at a good price.
