I had to write this review hopefully avoiding disaster for someone else. The photos show the brass adapter fitting supplied to allow the pumps usage on early Corvettes, 1963-1966, possibly others. This fitting is manufactured used two separate components and simply press fit together. This is on the output side. This pump is supplied as a replacement for the 4657 and 40083. I’m a auto restorer so not a one time driveway guy. After installing this immediately began to leak fuel. Thankfully I was not going down the road and had it come apart pumping fuel all over a hot engine.
Hard to imagine someone designing something like this. There are fittings manufactured by weatherhead and others that are one piece as it should be, which is what I replaced it with. Offshore manufacturing at its best. 😡😡
Be careful, Do NOT use this fitting!!

Probably could have made it work, but bought another different brand.
The female threads are BSPP or something, rather than NPTF. The T stands for tapered. These weren’t. The F stands for fuel – exacting thread geometry to ensure a seal. That was also missing.
It came with a street elbow adapter to make the 90 turn toward the carb, it never actually got any thread interference to seal. You could just spin it in until you ran out of threads.
If there were a copper washer of the correct thickness to make the elbow point the right way, it would work.
Return window closed on me.
