- Delphi uses winding process techniques to control the length of wire between adjacent windings. That’s important because more length results in greater voltage differences, which in turn create more pressure that could break down the insulation and wire coating.
- Delphi’s ignition coils are engineered to Original Equipment specifications
- Delphi’s ignition coils are designed with proven materials, such as high quality wires and wire coating that resists the cracks, pin holes and imperfections that most often lead to failure issues
- Epoxy vacuum techniques reduce air bubbles in the epoxy, because having fewer air bubbles increases the epoxy’s insulation quality and reduces the chances of energy punch-through failures
- Delphi’s coils are designed and endurance tested to resist the common stresses that cause failure

I used these coils to replace original Bremi coils made in Germany. I’m all for original BMW parts or OE but once I found out the Bremi coils are now made in China I went with this OEM part based on reviews. Rather than replace one defective coil, I replaced all six with Delphi. So far so good, fit perfectly without experiencing anything bizarre, which I often experience with OEM parts.
innocent bystander –
e39 m5 these didn’t fit cylinders 1&5 for some reason. I had to get oe bremi to fit.
these Delphi gave intermittent misfires upon startup. they seem very well made upon initial inspection but my BMW does not like them

These plugs are legit, they turned my tires E46 to a younger tiger. Raw Power. Love these plugs.

Fit perfect bought all 6. Took about 15 min. Also did Bosch Platinum plugs. Instant difference in performance. Beat pre maintenance forfor my car.

So after reading that BMW switched from Bremi to Delphi for their coil packs and I was still on my originals from 1999 I decided to start changing them. I was buying one at a time, and eventually got five but forgot to order the last one. I finally did and the new one is completely different. It resembles the original Bremi design. But there is no markings on it to say it’s a legit part.
Including picture to show the square ones that I probably got from Amazon to the rounder shape one now in the middle of the picture.
I never checked the resistance of the new ones but they had been working fine as far as I can tell.

Not original manufacturer for this model, but Delphi is a company BMW uses for replacement on other models. Replacement worked well.

Yup, no problems so far after 1.5 years or so. Great value (I’m assuming it’s cheaper than BMW OEM stuff)
David Wiegman –
Worked well and helped with rough idle after changing valve cover gaskets.
