Fit a 2001 Chevy 3500HD can/chassis (that I actually have to use year 2000 to order parts because, well, idk end of run model I guess)

Worked great at first but after 5 months it started leaking diesel all over from the power supply. The black gasket stretched and I had to cover the pump in a silicone.

My pump leaked from the wiring grommets 1 week and under 100 miles after install. I should have read the reviews. Seems to be a common issue on this pump. I exchanged mine for Delco that I should have bought in the first place.

I’ve never had a problem with Delphi parts, after all they do make a lot of OEM parts for GM and I’m sure other auto makers. The price I paid for this diesel lift pump was cheaper than I would have paid at an auto parts store and waaaaaaaayyyyy cheaper than my local GM dealership would have charged. And with amazon Prime you get it in two days time. Not to shabby.
