So I ordered this Mass Airflow Sensor in the hopes it would calm the idle down in my ’99 4Runner (3.47L V6; 2WD) and it worked!! So stoked I did not buy the Toyota OEM Sensor at I believe around $ 200 – 300.00!! Item arrived quickly and as described. Very easy to install, just make sure you have a right-angle #1 Philips adapter for your screwdriver/ratchet/drill gun/etc, it will make the job go by smoother.
Do not hesitate to order this brand of Sensor from Amazon, you can not go wrong.

Made my engine idle up and down. At least it helped me realize my original sensor is fine/not my issue. I put the original one back and it idled fine LoL. Actual issue ended up being a vaccum hose. 2001 Lexus GS300.

Retracting this review. After 4 weeks of smooth running this MAF has failed.
2006 Range Rover Sport HSE. I’ve been having air codes for a rear, vehicle runs rough on low idle and stalls at times. I purchased two other brands as MAS was the code issue fix. Startled trouble shooting and almost went the a LR repair shop $$$. Figured I’d try one more time and spend a little more (but not the factory cost product) time.
This was the fix all along. Rover runs great now for two weeks with no issues. Other two MAS were obviously garbage from new.

The Mass Airflow was defective.
I took my LR3 to British Atlantic Rovers in Dallas.
They only work on Land Rovers and showed me the reading with the new mass airflow sensor and one off of another LR3 in the shop.
The new unit failed and the vehicle ran rough. I ended up having to buy a mass air flow sensor from them at a higher cost.
The money I spent on Amazon was wasted, as the new mass air flow sensor is sitting in my garage on the shelf.
I wish I could get my money back, but who knows.

The check engine light came on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma the code was for Mass Air Flow Sensor. I checked the local part house and found some off brand for less than $100…I looked on Amazon and found this Delphi AF10135 Mass Air Flow Sensor for $68.00 at the parts house Delphi was over $100…Delphi was a spin off of GM…so Name brand Part at Great price. Easy installation and came with torx screwdriver head.

I originally purchased this part in order to get rid of a Check Engine Light code (P0101 in case it’s relevant for anyone else reading this… read below). Although replacing the MAF sensor did not fix my problem of rough idling or clear the CEL code, my car is approaching 200k miles and was ready for a new sensor, as cleaning a dirty MAF sensor only works for a few thousand miles before throwing another engine code (so I’ve read).
My problem was solved by removing the intake hose from the throttle body and wiping the top and bottom of the throttle body with a soft rag saturated with Throttle Body Cleaner (do NOT use anything else, they make a product specifically for this application and you should never spray anything into your intake manifold!!) This allows the butterfly plate inside of the throttle body to move freely once again so that your idle is smooth, but be sure that the key is not in the ignition when you are cleaning the plate or you will mess up the throttle sensor and have more problems on your hands.
Be sure to do your research if you want to clean your throttle body yourself (there are tons of videos on YouTube to show you) and possibly save some money on a trip to the shop. It took me all of 30 minutes to actually clean the throttle body after about an hour or two of research to ensure it was done properly.
Installing the MAF sensor itself is a piece of cake. Anyone could do this.
