- High Temperature Resistant: Deecam exhaust heat wrap is made of high-quality fiberglass. Exhaust wraps can withstand high temperatures up to 1112°F (600°C) and are fire retardant, high and low temperature resistant. - Install Guide: Before installation, soak the exhaust wrap tape in water for 10-20 minutes. Then, wrap the exhaust heat wrap around the exhaust pipe by encircling heat wrap and fix it with stainless steel ties with locking steel balls to complete the installation easily. The temperature of the exhaust pipe near the engine side is higher, so suggest wrap more than two layers of the exhaust wrap will have better results. (Warm tips: Please wear gloves throughout the installation process.)

I know my pic is little bit chaos. It wrapped really nicely, easy to install no hassle . It looks sweet takes a lot of heat and is good quality. It works awesome to keep the leg from burning 🤕. It’s also a really good deal. It does frey a hair when cut, even with scissors, but that’s part from the course.
My advise, use gloves! this is a fiberglass related product which means, like home insulation, I will get caught up in your hands and anger you for a few days. Last year though I bought some on temu and I think I’m still picking out Freys of fiberglass out and will never forget how terrible it was. That temu one also faded like crazy after ride, and this one has not faded yet. Never buy of temu. This product is super well priced and therefore buy here on Amazon.

This stuff is amazing!! Used it for my diesel heater exhaust so I wouldn’t get burned by accident. Worked just as described. The only issue was the amount of black dye after soaking in water and wrapping the exhaust pipe there was black dye everywhere. Other than that product worked great!!

the Steel zip ties had a funky connection , it looked like i would need a special tool to crimp it for a tight secure fit . i gave up after one and used wire to secure it ,

I installed a diesel generator inside my barn. Using metal conduit, I piped the exhaust outside. After my initial test, I realized how hot the exhaust pipe got. I was worried about it catching the wall on fire through the original small opening I drilled. Go back to go, I used some scrap metal and insulation to provide an insulated exhaust port. The newly wrapped exhaust pipe was inserted into a larger metal pipe. The insulating value of this tape was sufficient insulation that after 30 minutes of running, the outside pipe could be touched without burning my fingers. The roll of insulation came with quite a few stainless tie wraps. They did the job keeping the wrap in place. This was exactly what I needed to create an exhaust port that was safe.

I hated it. It was very, very hard to work with. There is no sticking to help you apply it. Very hard to get it tight. I will NEVER buy this again.
