I had a coil malfunction code on my Matrix 2009 and they wanted 80 dollars at the auto parts store. I ordered this and installed myself in like 10 minutes. The code never came back and the car functions perfectly. It has been 10 days and no check engine light.

Has only been installed for a couple of weeks but it solved my engine trouble. It looked identical to the one that I removed but only time will tell if it holds up as good as a far more expensive replacement. It was well worth a try. I’ll update if I have any troubles in the future but so far so good.

Fantastic simplistic part for a low price! I bought this for a 2009 Toyota Corolla. When other similar parts cost around $80 this one was only around 20 bucks. It went in with ease and my car idles and runs much better now. The check engine light for the number one coil plug no longer illuminates after installing this part. the old coil pack was the original one from Toyota when it was manufactured. According to the Toyota technical documents the original coil pack was made by Denso.
My only concern is the low price point could be an indication of substandard materials and workmanship. It is too early to tell if this is the case. I would consider this coil plug an excellent buy assuming it has longevity.

I purchased this coil on Feb 2, 2021 and installed it on a few days later. Worked great instantly. Unfortunately today is March 2, 2021 and according to my OBD reader it’s failing not lasting a single month. I’m purchasing another elsewhere and if I find that it’s something else other than the cool then I will update this review.
