I had been yank-starting my 2007 Recon for 2 years, simply because I was too cheap to pay Honda prices and to lazy to find a starter online at Amazon.
This unit fit my ATV perfectly ,and starts it instantly for about 80% less cost than a Honda branded part from the dealer.

Perfect fit for 2007 Honda recon trx. Bought new & always had trouble starting it, the first crank without choking it. This one cranks on first crank without choke. It does seem, a little louder or stronger than original. But it works great for now, will have to wait & see about longevity 👍

Bottom line: FANTASTIC price, O.E. quality..and my Honda Recon engine spins over BETTER than when it was new!!!My Honda ATV dealer quoted me $185.00! Amazon to the rescue! Very prompt shipping, excellent packing, such a great deal!! Yesterday, I ordered a starter for my 4trax/200. It was even less $$$! Great place to shop…full 1 year warranty..the whole deal! If your Honda ATV just “Clicks” in start mode, verify you have 12 volts AT THE STARTER..if you do and it just clicks…new starter time!

Just took this off of my 4 wheeler because it quit working , and after a little over a years use and it had oil inside of it . The seal inside the starter failed. Never mudded or abused.

I purchased this after the local Honda dealer quoted me $185.00 plus tax for a new one and a local merchant wanted 60-70 bucks to rebuild the old one. Fit and finish were very good and it seems to do an excellent job in the short time I’ve used it.

I bought this for my nephew’s ATV that he keeps at my house. The old starter quit working and I had to pull start it. I found this at a reasonable price and figured I would try it. Installation was easy, only took about 30 minutes, and it works great. Time will tell how long it will last but it beats buying OEM at more than double the cost.
