Fit good in my car and easy to install. It tested real good as soon as I started the car. It is a couple of months later now and I drive that vehicle over 100 miles each day and still running strong. Good value for the money…

It fits in my Saturn fine, and does what it should. Keep the bolts from your old alternator because this doesn’t include them.
It’s not an easy repair because Saturn made it hard to get at, but other than that it’s straight forward.

The delivery was quick. The cosmetic appearance is pleasing. The proof of operation/data testing sheet was a nice touch. After installation the charging system was restored to operational and failure was gone. The new alternator has a quite whine under load which wasn’t noticed with old alternator. This is second alternator installed by me into this car. The original alternator and a rebuilt both lasted 100k miles before failing, now I installed a DB Electrical alternator. I’m pleased with operation to date. Looking forward to a long lasting operation. I’ll consider DB electrical on future purchases.

i recived this part in about 5 days.i took it to a shop they put the part on my car to find out it was a junk part did not work. i recived my payment back but did not get the funds back for having to pay the shop to install and to re install a new one which i bought from a local store.

I am confused how this didn’t get reviewed, i’d swear I posted a review on this before.
This publically only had one star when I ordered it and i’m normally super leery of chinese parts – however the company (DB Electrical) I also got a replacement starter from which has worked flawlessly so I decided to take the risk.
It arrived quickly, worked perfectly as soon as I put it in, and hasn’t even shown a twitch or looked at me funny or given me any reason to doubt it will continue to work. :^) So I hope it will.
I don’t mind posting a positive review hoping that if I ever do have a problem the company will stand behind it (and i’ll post here if I ever do have a problem with it) but so far it seems they didn’t cut any corners. The alternator included a test sheet (which I hope is real/for my actual alternator!) suggesting it was quality tested before sending.
FYI if you order this you might want to have the alternator bench tested as soon as it arrives – places like ORielly’s will do this for free normally – as it will save you from installing something that (in case something isn’t kosher) doesn’t work and then needs to be returned or paid to be reinstalled. I didn’t do that and was fine but realized I could have after I found out those tests were free but only can be done with the alt out of the vehicle. This would have prevented the first one star review where someone said the installed part didn’t work after they paid to have it put in. Probably the second/noises would have been obvious on the test machine as would voltage regulator instabilities.
To anyone with some basic mechanical ability – this isn’t too hard to put in. If you have a saturn go to saturnfans.com and you can find help there, videos are on youtube by a guy named Richpin. The only annoying part is getting the serpentine belt back on where having a second person can make it alot easier to do, that or a cheater bar at least anyway.

EDIT Installed April 30, 2015 and still working Jan 12 2017 with absolutely no problems. Totally happy with it.

Looked brand new and worked perfect right out of the box! Got my 2001 Saturn SL2 up and running again with no issues. Packaging was excellent as well, came with a performance test report!

Got this for a project I was fixing and this alternator is complete trash! Do not waste your time! Brand new and it’s shorted out. Company tells me amazon is required to replace but they will not and only post the manufacture for returns. Do not buy an alternator online… lesson learned. Spend the money at your local auto parts store so you can return.
