If you are looking for an alternator for the 3.5-3.9 v6 gm engine. This is definitely a drop in and go. I would highly recommend getting a higher amp modle. But this one is great for a stock/ week end replacement. I recommend also buying the pig tail that connector for the back of the alternator.

On time , no issues. Works solid and steady. Charge in the first run is a lil whiny but she quits if you let her purr for a bit first.

I got this product in July of 2023 for my 2008 impala. I had to replace the alternator in December of 2024. I would not recommend.

After removing the 2 bolts the front upper and lower back one , dont forget to also remove the spacer bolt so theres 3 in total to take out took me a little over a hr to do as a novice ! so a good weekend easy project. my alternator high pitch squel is now gone, also charges my battery on my 2007 3.5L impala LT Flexfuel motor with Ac No problems.. this is a decent alternator for the price , order it now ! Now Damn it …
