Unit arrived fairly quickly (4 days) and is very well made. Definitely a bargain as well in comparison to other units. Note that this is for an auto and the auto vs. manuals have different snouts. If you’re mechanically inclined and want to save some money you can just swap the guts from this unit to the snout of your old manual starter unit. I did that to save about $40. Just had to make a minor modification to the positive lead coming from the car to the starter. Took 30-min overall so worth the savings to me.
Matt –
Nice fit and works good so far.

2012 Subaru Forester – Checked fuel pressure, replaced fuel filter assembly, cleaned fuel injectors and checked relays no solutions. Finally I replaced the oem Starter with this one, all is good now! Woo hoo!

Direct fit to 2011 Subaru Forester
Fix slow cranking issue
Drove the car for 20-30 minutes after installation to allow battery to recharge, otherwise the car will die after starting.
