Everything hooked up and worked like it should. Like other reviews have pointed out you need to check what connectors you have on the solinoid. I nearly ordered the wrong one that was still listed as fitting my application until I read that and looked closer.

I needed to change a 17 year old starter. Once I was done wearing out my arms getting the bolts out the old starter, I put in the new starter with no problems, smooth like butter, it literally took me 5 minutes to install. Fits perfectly and most of all it works

Im sure it will work great for someone other than me. It did not fit my car, Amazon was wrong on its suggested parts that fit.

I priced this item at local auto parts stores for twice the price! I bought this, installed it and have had no problems since. Mechanics will tell you not to buy these parts from Amazon but that is because if they get it for you they can charge you 10 per cent more for it. Do your homework…trust the reviews and save yourself a lot of money. Quality part.

New starter was delivered quickly and I installed in under 30 min. Car started right up after installation. This was for a 2007 Pontiac g6 3.5. Tools needed 10mm for starter cover,13mm for hot wire on old starter,14mm for new hot wire on new starter,15mm to remove starter mounting bolts. Be sure to disconnect Positive battery terminal before starting work. You may need to remove 2, 15mm bolts and the bracket below the starter to access the back starter mounting bolt.
Also installed same starter on 2004 pontiac sunfire 2.2 in October 2022. 1 year later it’s still going strong.

I bought this Starter for a 2008 Chevy Equinox LS 3.4 liter engine. Fit and works perfectly. AutoZone and Advanced Auto wants $250+ for the same part! I’ve ordered many auto parts from Amazon and they come from the same foreign factories that they buy at the box stores. Save yourself some money people.
