My son was driving the car and it started smoking. Popped the hood and alternator area was on fire. Fortunately, he was able to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher. DO NOT BUY THIS ALTERNATOR! I’m an Electrical Engineer, overload protection should prevent this happening. This alternator is a HUGE RISK. Cost me $2000!!! Replaced with OEM alternator and things are fine.

Not bad. Satisfied. Some little issue with 90 degrees adapter but I replaced, put plastic adapter from alternator.

It did work perfectly, and it saved me time in going to return the core, etc.
At first, i was scared because i had seen a lot of video describing that Ford is picky with aftermarket parts, etc but i didn’t have any issues.
