Working great in Ram 1500 5.7.
Install was easy, bolt holes lined up, alternator looks like an alternator.
Chose this one over the cheaper option because of better reviews. I will update this review if it craps out in a couple months.

Came fast via Prime shipping. Installed in less than 30 mins. Easy installation on my 05 Ram, even with my crappy Craftsman tools and no breaker bar… Just two bolts and two connections on top. The hardest part was getting the old alternator out as it had been stuck in there since new. Took a little banging and prying… New alternator slipped in like a glove, perfect fit. I just reused both original bolts, sprayed a little WD40 on the threads and joints that go around the bolt hole brace mounts and easy peasy installation on my 2005 Ram 1500 5.7. So far so good, it was charging and running smooth. (Pro Shadetree Mechanic Tip: I used a bungee cord to hold tension on my serpentine belt when I took it off the alternator pulley as it makes the job quicker so the belt doesn’t loosen and come off other pulleys and have to be re-routed afterwards.)

It was easy to install and saved me over $400 from paying a mechanic. It fixed the noise I was hearing and my truck runs alot better. It’s also the same brand they sell at auto parts stores for double the price.

Was a perfect fit, smoother and quieter than the OE Bosh unit it replaced with only 136K miles on it. Gauge needle comes up smoothly and no longer fluctuates.

I got this alternator to replace the one on my 2005 Dodge ram 1500 and it took me weeks to figure out if i was sold a faulty alternator or if I had a different issue. right out of the box it wasn’t working it got very hot I don’t recommend putting this in your truck I don’t want someone to end up with more issues down the road or broke down on the side of the road there was no reason for the alternator to get as hot as it did it was very concerning and very hard to figure out what the real issue was when it turned out to be the brand new alternator I just got.
