I purchased a marine alternator on 2/18/2020. it was represented to fit a Mercruiser 3.0. IT IS the wrong alternator Due to weather conditions and the fact that I can only do the installation on a day I am not working, I was not able to attempt installation until 2/18/2020. As soon as a opened the box I realized I was the wrong alternator. I attempted the return on 2/19/2020. I did not realize this part had only a 30 day return window. I am asking that you reconsider and allow me to return the part. It is in new condition. I never attempted to install it. I had already removed the old alternator and knew as soon as I saw it that it was the wrong alternator.

This was an exact fit for my 2001 Bayliner Capri with 5.0 Mercruiser V-8. Nice anti corrosion coating on case and components. Ships fast. This even came with the bench test report to show the charging curve and output volts/amps. You won’t find this good of an alternator for this price at the local parts store. It’s nice to find a place that does not inflate their prices for marine electrical parts.
