Bought this as a replacement for the cable that came with my Nextbase 122.
(The orginal cable broke when I tried to remove it after my car was totaled in an accident)
This cable is compatible with the Nextbase “click and go” (no-gps) magnetic mount that comes with the dashcams.
In the brief time I had the car running to check after routing the cable, it worked very well when plugged into my radio’s hidden usb reciever.
It didn’t cut out or cause the camera to restart.
The cable is good quality and flexible, which is perfect for hiding the cable behind trim.
It’s longer than the regular Nextbase cable, which was a plus because I could install it with some slack.
I’d definitely purchase another for my other vehicle/dashcam just to have the longer cable.

I bought this to replace the original cord that came with my dash camera. After using this one for a little while, it seems to have a short in it. I look up and the dash cam has powered off. I have to jiggle the cord, just a little bit, to make the dash cam come back on. Other times I have to make sure the other end is still plugged into the cigarette lighter opening. It seems to work it’s way out of it. Yeah, crazy. Maybe the cord is too long but you need the length to hide the cord along your dashboard. My next one will be with WiFi but they have their problems too. Let’s face in these crazy weird times, you need a dash camera because some people are extremely dishonest.
UPDATE:
This cord was a waste of my money. The wires became exposed and it has stopped working altogether. I knew it would come to this. It should have lasted longer and I never should have to wiggle the cord. This is a ZERO STAR item. Do not throw any money or time at it.

Ordered this as a replacement for my Nexar dash cam since the last one got pinched on half in my accident. This one is better than the original. I like the 90 degree bend in it. It works good, the length is way long enough, and it keeps the camera on just like it should.
