Someone else mentioned this but, this cord is not designed to just plug right onto your battery tender. In sae terms, shielded is positive and exposed is hot, but this cord it’s opposite. So if you hook it straight up, you will blow the fuse. I found that out the hard way. Either put a polarity reverser on it, hook up the cables backward on the donor battery or hook up your trickle charger backward. But it’s easier to just do a polarity reverser.

The second time I used this CUZEC 20A Battery Alligator Clip it caught on fire! Not a feature you want when using on a 12 volt fuel transfer pump. The fuse did not blow as designed; it actually went up in flames. I was looking for a “heavy duty” wiring option that I could clip to a mobile battery and use it on my trailer mounted fuel tank. I am happy that it did not go Kaboom,
