Have a cab over camper didn’t want to crawl around and install plug in bed so I bought this. Easily plugs in to camper and reaches hitch location for about the same price as 2 hours of work. No plug to break in my bed when I use it to do work.

Worked well on my 2015 Chevy Colorado. I had my tailgate light bar (4 pin plug) plugged into the 4 on connector on my bumper, but I looked terrible, was in the way, and had to be disconnected if I wanted to hook up a Trailer. Now this inline plug sits hidden behind the bumper and I should be able to hook up a trailer without disconnecting anything, and bonus have the bar continue to function.
The lead for the 4 on connector is super long, I ended up coiling it and zip tieing it out of the way, but since it seems a lot of people are buying this for their light bars have similar thoughts, it would be nice if the lead was only maybe 12 inches long. Deducting one star for that reason. Even if it was used for other purposes I Cant imagine why you would need so much extra length of 4 pin connector from the round 7 way connector.

Product arrived next day after order. Very easy and fast to install. Perfect product for someone looking to install any kind of light bar, camera or truck accessory.
Completely eliminates the need to cut into your factory wiring harness, additional 4 pin connector let’s you simply plug in a light bar without having to splice into the harness or have the wiring hang out of your trailer connector.
The only improvement I would like to see is for the reverse light wire of this harness to be lengthens by a few inches because this is the only wire you need to splice in order to connect the reverse light wiring for a light bar or backup camera. Still fairly easy to do but a long reserve light wire would make this product perfect!

This item worked beautifully to replace my seven pin receptacle and allow me to plug back into it and gives off a four prong lead so that I could adapt camper shell wiring for my brake light just works amazing without having to splice

I bought this to use as wiring to tap into the reverse light on my OPT7 Paralux Triple LED Light Bar. The light bar comes with the reverse wire separated and you have to tap into your vehicle someplace to make the reverse light work. This harness was the answer! Instead of tapping into the taillight or factory harness I wanted to use something that would be just as effective without forever splicing into the factory wiring. After reading forums I found this very harness as a recommended alternative. The vehicle I perform this method on was a 2017 Ram 2500. The lightbar wiring length was not generous and so having this harness saved the day as the trailer plugs are on the passenger side of the truck…while the lightbar wire didn’t reach all of the way! Good thing I got this harness. There’s some nice videos on YouTube for installing this Curt product. It’s relatively simple; I didn’t have to take off the spare tire. Apply dielectric grease and plug it in! Route your wires and test first before securing them or tapping into the wires for any reason. Another benefit is the wires from
Auxiliary wiring such as with the LED lightbar are nice and hidden and don’t come around the bumper and plug in. Now there’s more room for the use of the trailer harness! If you do use this to tap into the reverse wire, the reverse wire is the middle white wire….the one right in the middle! Good luck and enjoy!

This adapter is great. It is a tad bulky, but I was able to use zip ties to snug all the extra wire out of the way. It made adding extra lights super simple. I simply wired my LEDs into a 4-way flat trailer plug and then plugged into the adapter and hid all the wires behind the bumper.

This product is very much worth the money, easy to install & very durable. I purchased this splitter for an Opt7 lightbar for on my 2019 Chevy Colorado so I didn’t have to hardwire & still had accessibility to use the factory sockets for towing a trailer. When specking it out to make sure it was compatible, it stated that it doesn’t fit this yr make & model pickup but it definitely does, fits & works perfectly. If you want to spare yourself the aggravation of hardwiring & still have the accessibility of the factory sockets for towing a trailer, this product is definitely what you need!!!
