Used this to replace switch for aux lights on motorcycle. The original switched died, I searched a while for one like OEM, and this one fit the bill. It worked immediately and fit into oem bracket. Good and water resistant so far.

I got this tiny little button switch to put on one of the led fog lights on my motorcycle they have 3 modes (high, low, flashing) the way they change modes is by turning on/off/on and some times they get out of sync when I turn them on so I got this to put on one light to get back in sync works great this has a nice rubber cover over the switch button to make it water proof I have washed and rode in the rain too many time and never had any troubles with it I didn’t drill a hole to mount it (no place on my bike to do it) but I can see it would mount well it just have it zip tied out of the way like I said this is tiny so when I got it I was thinking I paid way to much for this tiny little thing but needed it /had it and didn’t want to waste time returning /ordering something else but now I have had it and been using it for some time now I really think I am glad I kept it and would buy this same tiny button switch its NOT a cheap piece of crap its very well made and very water tight so I would spend a little more for this

I don’t have much to add to my title but like I said it’s a switch and it works and it appears to be somewhat water resistant. I do have it in an outdoor application and so far so good. The biggest obstacle I have is the constant sun beating down on it and deteriorating the rubber boot.

It is a on off switch in a bathroom so it needed to be waterproof. Simple to install… six months and no issues!

I needed to replace the trip meter reset switch on my HD Softail (2006) and mistakenly bought this. It does do the job, but every push has to be a ‘double-tap’ since this is push-on, push-off instead of momentary contact N/O.
I’m sure I’ll get used to it shortly, but until I do it’s going to frustrate me a little. The value proposition is good though – the ‘right’ switches are ridiculously overpriced (Harley Tax?) for an ‘off the shelf’ switch.
I miss the days before Bozo’s Bookstore killed local businesses where you could buy electronic parts.

Good switch, works well. The design of the rubber boot could be a improved. I had to open the original hole a bit to allow the rim that the rubber coating snaps on to to pass through. Also, getting the boot back onto the switch was a challenge after the switch was installed, but I was able to get it in place without too much frustration. I wish the boot was a little tighter against the surface when mounted, but it works well and is sufficient to protect the switch in the application.
