Just finished putting this in and I could not be more pleased. I put off replacing my front shaft after my CV joint went out beacause I didn’t want to pay $500 for a new shaft and thought it was so dumb that you had to replace the whole thing. So excited I found this! The install was pretty painless. took me about an hour and 3 beers. It’s a 1.5 man job, in a few places a 3rd hand would be helpful. I’m not sure it will last for the life of the jeep as I have a Rubicon with +2″ but I would say its as good as if not better than the factory CV. Plus for $100 I can replace it 3 more times and still be better off than a new shaft. The only thing I would change is the boot clamp, it seems a little wimpy. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Part only lasted 50 miles and basically self destroyed. Seller made me mail the part back for a refund and never return my messages after that.
All in all, I lost my money and time.
Do not buy from Extrme Off Road, they do not care about customers.
