I use this in an area where we get 120 inches of rain a year. I use it on electrical connections and mechanical parts exposed to the elements. Not only for lubrication but also to help in corrosion protection for exposed metal such as drive chain or slide posts on my sawmill and other equipment. Has great adhesion.

This stuff really keeps whatever you spray it with sealed from the elements. Used it all over my boat that I use in saltwater. It is not clear so it does have a little color to it but can be wiped off
