Pay attention to the ounces in this, I thought I was getting a big bottle of it, and you can see in the pic, it is a small bottle. However, it worked very well. It converts the rusty area to black, but it isn’t like a black paint that goes black everywhere you apply it; only the rust goes black. It didn’t take much, just a thin coat, so even tho the bottle was surprisingly small, it will last. But if you have a big job to do (I used it on some rusty spots on my car), you might want more. It dried pretty quickly, as it was outside and a sunny day.

I put one coat on and it wasn’t completely black when it was dry. I tested just a little bit out for the second coat and it stayed white. If you are looking for a nice black finish this is not the thing. You will have to paint over it. But it says to wait an extremely long time before you can. Cannot be done in one day!

I finally got around to using this stuff. It is advertised as “flat black”. It’s white, like a cream white.

Not what i expected… needed a lot more work than described, plus it did not leave a black paintable surface… I needed to prep the surface to paint it…

Simply the best product for rust. Used it on my old elantra’s rusty hood and fender. Wear gloves otherwise it sticks to skin like super glue, I learned the hard way. Per reviewer’s suggestion on USA Amazon I used I cloth to apply it to car hood after sanding it down instead of a brush and it worked great. This stuff dries hard like a rock so you need to apply smoothly if you’re painting afterwards, otherwise it’ll be hard to sand it down smooth.
