### Descrição do Produto

2. Tensão: Ajuste a tensão do cinto conforme as especificações do fabricante do equipamento. Um cinto muito solto pode escorregar, enquanto um cinto muito apertado pode causar danos às polias.
3. Inspeção Regular: Realize inspeções periódicas para verificar sinais de desgaste, como rachaduras ou desgastes irregulares. Substitua o cinto se qualquer dano for identificado.
4. Ambiente de Operação: Evite expor o cinto a temperaturas extremas ou produtos químicos agressivos, pois isso pode comprometer sua integridade e desempenho.

Great belt, lots of positive reviews for long life and quiet operation. Got this to replace my cracking belt on my 2004 Corolla. Amazon said this part would not fit my car but it is definitely the right one. A tip for anyone installing on the Corolla is to jack the passenger side up and remove the plastic shield to get to the bottom pulleys. It was 3 10mm bolts which allowed for access to the bottom, no need to remove the tire. I was fighting the belt from up top for 20 minutes, there simply is no room to work from up above. After getting from the bottom installation was a breeze, took 3 minutes to get the belt around the pulley’s. So far it is quiet and works as expected.

I have had to edit my previous review. I didn’t realize I had two separate squeals/chirping sounds and now that I confirmed the second squeal/chirping was not the Continental belt but the spring connection between my manifold and exhaust pipe, it is all quiet for the first time in about 11 years. So now I bought another Continental Elite Poly V-Belt for my second 2005 Corolla which has also had the same issue for the past 11 years even though I’ve changed the Toyota branded belt and other related parts. This second Corolla is now all quiet so this belt does work wonderfully. The second Corolla did not have any additional noise other than that from the Toyota branded belt.

PREVIOUS REVIEW BELOW IS NO LONGER ACCURATE BUT REMAINS IN CASE THE SYMPTOMS ASSIST OTHERS TO LOOK AT THEIR EXHAUST PIPE/MANIFOLD CONNECTION. I CHANGED THE BOLTS, SPRING AND GASKET AT THIS CONNECTION AND NOW ALL IS QUIET
I have two 2005 Toyota Corollas and since about 2007, the belt squeals while stopped and worse under load such as with brake on at red lights. The belts have been replaced by Toyota belts about every 5,000 – 20,000kms for the past 11 years but the noise appears within a couple weeks or sooner. The tensioners have been replaced and again the noise appeared soon afterwards. This noise is very common with Toyota vehicles. Sounds like high pitched chirping/squeaking sound that initially only occurred in the colder months but now occurs all year and also with driving. The pulleys appear to be aligned and the bearings are good. Tried this belt and it was quiet for the first 5 minutes then some noise appeared but was 90% more quiet. Within 30 minutes of city driving, the noise increased but was still about 80% better than before. Now that I’ve driving about a week now but only 150 kilometres, the noise is about 60-70% better than before.

As mentioned by other reviewers is good product less noisy than original serpentine from toyota and cheaper too.

i installed it on my 2008 corolla … fits perfect and runs good until now.. one week has passed..
    pulley noises are gone.

Works great on our 2001 Chevy Prizm. I originally purchased this in an attempt to address a rattling noise coming from the serpentine belt tensioner (common for this vehicle), which you could hear when in drive and the car was stopped or going slowly. It helped a little, but didn’t resolve issue. I ended up replacing the tensioner assembly with Continental Elite 49346 Accu-Drive Tensioner Assembly, and the noise is now gone.

In regard to installation for the Prizm (Toyota Corolla twin), it really helped to get the front up on ramps — this is so I could get underneath to position the belt under the bottom pulleys while having a helper hold the belt in place above (my 14-yr old daughter helped). Once positioned, you’ll need a decent size breaker bar or similar to compress the tensioner piston to provide needed slack to get the belt around the top pulley (alternator, if I remember correctly). The new belt will likely be a slightly tighter compared to the old one since belts can stretch over time. There’s a great video on YouTube by Peter Finn showing how to replace the belt & tensioner on Corolla/Prizm…gotta love his accent!

This belt fixed the squealing in my 2005 Toyota Corolla S! When my car developed a mild squealing noise I thought I would have to take it in for service, but thanks to a helpful YouTube video I was able to determine the problem was with my serpentine belt and that it could be changed out fairly easily. I ordered this a couple months back and when it arrived I realized that I didn’t have the one and only tool needed to accomplish the task: a torque wrench with a 19mm socket. After asking friends and family, none of whom had what I needed, I tried posting my request on the NextDoor community website and within only a few hours I made contact with someone who had the proper tool.

The wrench isn’t even used to unbolt anything, it’s simple used to release the tension on the belt. Doing so made the old belt a snap to take off. Putting the new belt on was a bit more challenging simply because there was so little room to work. It took about 15-20 minutes for me to snake the belt around all the different wheels and think that it would have gone quicker with an assistant to hold the belt taught as several times the belt slipped off before I could get it around all the wheels.

Once it was on I started it up and there was no squealing. I’ve been driving for about 10 days now and there is still no squealing. I definitely recommend this belt and can testify that it can be put on by someone who doesn’t have any mechanical experience. Just make sure you have the right tool before you start.

Great belt. No more squeaks and noise.

  7. Kei

My only complaint is on the page it lists points about the gatorback version of this belt which made me think that’s what I was buying but the standard belt, which is what I got, works great and solved my squealing noise problem after I damaged my old belt. Product is 5/5 for me but don’t put gatorback belt in the description and points about it if that’s not the product being represented. Just confusing but it all worked out

I have a 2006 Toyota Matrix XR 1.8L engine (with power steering and AC).
Yes to everyone out there, IT FITS perfectly if you have the car and info listed above!
My trusted Gates belt failed only after 9 months, squeaking all the time and coming apart. If you were wondering, yes, all of the pulleys, idler pulley, belt tensioner are in great shape, so this is not the cause. I personally think Gates products have gone down hill over the past 5 years ever since they went from a lifetime warranty belt, to a 1 year warranty belt. The quality is just not there.
So, that being said, I bought this Goodyear belt and so far I am happy, no squeaks, installed easily, and appears to be well built. I guess only time will tell.
These Gatorback belts are hard to find, your local O Reilly, Autozone, and Advanced Autoparts don’t stock or sell them anymore. Amazon does, so buy one from Amazon!
    I do recommend this belt,

Got this for my 2007 Toyota Corolla after I couldn’t stand the squealing sound the old belt made every time I turned it on or put air conditioning on. This belt did exactly what it is supposed to do and I was able to easily install it myself (took about 15 minutes). There’s a great video on YouTube for how to install this belt on a 2007 Corolla, so if you don’t want to take it to a shop, then this is one of the easiest repairs you can do yourself.

  10. primehalo

I received only 3 items the belt the only thing missing
