My old work truck was in need of a new serpentine belt. No problem right, wrong. I bought two new belts locally, one a premium belt that squealed so loud I was embarrassed to drive my truck. Each time I just reinstalled the old crack one and prayed it held together. Luckily the auto parts store returned one. I then tried replacing the pulley on the tensioner, but the new one actually has a slight noise. I’m just too lazy to put the old one back on. Then I read on a Dodge message board that a few people have had good luck with the Goodyear Gatorback belt. I received a gift card for Christmas so I decided what the heck. A friend was going to use the truck for a few days and put a couple hundred miles on it, so better safe than sorry. I installed the belt a few days ago and put a hundred or so miles on it before loaning it out and so far, nice and quiet. If it stays like this, Goodyear Gatorbacks will be the only belt used on this truck. Really don’t know why it’s not carried locally, but I gotten pretty used to buying stuff from Amazon. Saves me time and gas too!

Worked just as the description claimed!! I’ve had one on my Durango before and it worked like a champ. When it was time to replace it, I found out no one local carried the Goodyear so I bought Gates from the local parts store and regretted it. My SUV squeaked and squealed constantly!! I replaced the pullies on every component but it didn’t help. When I found this belt on Amazon I was ecstatic! The next day delivery was awesome and it once again doesn’t disappoint in action! I’ll never use another belt…planning to buy 2 or 3 extras.

Have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500. Thought I needed a new belt tensioner, replaced it. Squeaked. New three year warrantee Dayco belt, squeaked still.
New fan clutch, water pump, idler pulley, still squeaked.
Heard about the Gator belts, ordered and installed, now squeak free! Definitely recommend, wish I had heard of them a few hundred dollars

Perfectly fits a 2005 Nissan Titan/Armada, I would not buy a smaller belt.
–Quality
I have purchased this belt for a separate vehicle, which has been in use now for roughly 50k miles. The belt is still in fantastic shape. I do not doubt it will hold up just as well on the Nissan Titan
–Install
– I would highly recommend using a ratcheting torque wrench or something you can get leverage on for this install.
– Place the 14mm socket over the bolt on the belt tensioner. You should be using some kind of cheater bar to get leverage on this.
– Pull to your left, towards the passenger side of the vehicle. Have an allen wrench ready. Look at the tensioner, it has 2 holes that will align allowing you to ‘lock’ the tensioner into place to pull off the old belt and install the new.
– Once you have the tensioner locked pull the old belt off.
– Install your new belt. To ensure proper alignment of the new belt I’d recommend you pull off the skid plate (4 10mm bolts)on the bottom of the vehicle. This should make the install easier around those pulleys.
– Make sure the belt is fit onto all pulleys properly, again pull your wrench towards the passenger side to give you enough space to remove the allen wrench from the tensioner assembly.
– Reinstall skid plate if you had removed it, 4 10mm bolts.
–Final Thoughts
Amazon actually recommends some smaller fit belts for the Titan. I can imagine that these belts would fit even tighter than this one, possibly causing issues. This is a safe replacement for the OEM belt which is supposed to be replaced at your 90k maintenance interval.

I HAVE SEVERAL OF THE ORIGINALS. I KEEP THEM SEALED & I SOAK THEM OVERNIGHT IN 303 Aerospace Protectant, THEN SEAL THEM. THESE “NEW ONES” ARE WORTHLESS, FAR, FAR INFERIOR TO THE ORIGINALS, THEY DON’T HAVE THE CROSS-HATCH DESIGN.

I have a 2003 Dodge Durango with a 5.9 engine that had a squealing belt or tensioner. I priced out other belts locally from the chain auto parts stores, and the price on the Gatorback from Amazon was less than what the local stores wanted for Dayco or other brands they carry. My brother is a mechanic, highly recommended the Gatorback. I would have had him get me one at his cost, but he lives 250 miles from me and I neeeded it sooner than Christmas.
Also, if you do not already have one, get the Amazon Prime membership. I was hesitant at first, but it has more than paid for itself with free 2 day shipping!

This belt DOES in fact fit perfectly on a 2013 Nissan Titan(although Amazon says otherwise) and it wasn’t too hard to install either(the Amazon recommended belt is much harder!) Once it was installed I started my truck and instantly the squeaky sound was gone. That was over a month ago and it hasn’t returned.

My old belt OEM with 50k miles on it was squealing pretty bad anytime it rained or there was a lot of moisture in the air. This belt is almost whisper quiet in all conditions. I’ve got a couple thousand miles on it now and it still doesn’t make a peep. Based on the other good reviews, I expect it to last a long time. It fit my ’99 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9 liter V8 and Air Conditioning perfectly. Docked one star because it’s not made in the USA.
