I purchased these from Complete Struts in April 2025. I received Unity shocks in the box. They handle very well. Huge improvement over the dilapidated struts that were in the vehicle. I’ll try to update this review in about six months and let you know how they lasted.

    Some notes:

    – I didn’t see anyone else mention that they were Unity brand struts, in case you you want to look up reviews of that manufacturer. They are double-walled shocks which is good. They appear to be decently constructed. I know nothing about Unity as a manufacturer, whether they’re no-name or reputable. (My struts are already in so I’m disinclined to look up reviews at this point.)

    – BE CAREFUL torquing down the upper strut mount studs. I used a torque wrench and still sheared mine right off like a caveman. I removed the broken studs and replaced them with the screws from the old strut so it’s all good. I googled and this is a common thing with struts, so it’s not a manufacturing defect. So don’t be like me. Just get them snug so they won’t come off, no need to go crazy.

    – They put a warning tape over the top of the strut mount – you know, the one that says not to remove the nut holding the spring in so it doesn’t fly off and remove your skull. That tape residue will require some alcohol or other solvent to remove completely. Or you can just leave it like I did.

I installed these struts on my car and they fit very nice. I had originally gave them a 5 star rating. After 3200 miles the left strut failed. It had a knocking noise. The mechanic determined the strut had failed and to be sure installed the old strut back on the car. The knocking noise disappeared. I contacted “complete struts” they seemed like they would warranty their product. After several emails back and forth it became clear that they were not going to warranty anything. I ordered a set of struts from a reputable company and moved on. You always take your chances buying products from sub standard companies. Beware of complete struts!!
