It needs a password to save and or update anything on the unit. The sender was difficult to reach and never responded to my requests for the code needed to use the unit. The unit doesn’t support any of the features in the F82 M4 BMW including the heads up display.
The themes are limited and not upgradable. It causes incompatibility issues with the head unit at the initial setup. It resolves it on its own if you hard reset head unit. The speedometer stays in km and cannot be changed. So if you are only familiar with MPH, you will need to learn Kilometers.
No interfaces will respond to the unit.
