For my iphone 13 pro max. Magnet had to be stuck outside the case. It is flush with the surface and hollow in the middle to show the apple icon so it did not take away from the aesthetics. Relying on the phone’s magnetic back alone w/o a magnetic case is a joke. After all iphone 13 pro max is one of the heaviest models I had of the iphones. Inserting a magnet to the back of a case is a must and better be on the outside of the case. Doing so will let the magnet hold to the stand pretty strong, but trying to remove the phone you will rip the mount off the dash board so you better use 2 hands to keep the mount in place. They give you several 3M stickers to mount the base, it is useless with car curves and heat (car is a BMW sedan 16), If you try to mount it on top of the dashboard there will be no way the phone is directed to you (not sure what was the logic in that) so you have to try to position your phone vertically to see the screen, otherwise it is directed up to the roof in landscape position. I saw another reviewer comment on that; said you need to lie on the roof with face down to see the screen (was hilarious). Anyway it IS A STRONG hold BUT too strong for the dismal 3M stickers and its mount angle design needed some common sense. I still liked the magnet strength that I will try the vent mount ones and attach this to it instead of the useless dashboard mount.

I have an iPhone 13 pro with a MagSafe case from another company.
The magnet has exceeded my wildest expectations for grip! Not sure how they did this. I originally bought another brand that would also wirelessly charge. That one did not work for me and while the magnet was strong with my case, this one is much much stronger. I decided to forego the wireless charging aspect, so now I just plug the cord into my phone and then stick to the mount.
this product does exactly what it is supposed to do! Remember that this magnet does not charge your phone wirelessly, it only acts as a magnetic dash holder.

This ended up being a lot better than I expected. I needed a new mount since my old one was huge and I don’t like vent mounts that overheat my phone. I have a MagSafe pop socket so I can just pop it off and put my phone on this. The adhesive is not great however. But it came with 2 extra sticky strips I had to use and worked fine. Have not had any problems and should last a while.

This was probably one of the better options out there and I’m happy with it.
The package comes with clear instructions so definitely follow the installation process for a solid hold. Comes with extra sticky pads so when it eventually falls off, you’re covered.
I was worried it wouldn’t hold sturdily enough through a magsafe case but I’m happily surprised. Very sturdy and even with how strong the magnet is, the mount doesn’t budge when I remove my phone. That was definitely one of my major concerns.
On a negative note though, I wish the holder portion was longer. Unless you have a spot to mount this vertically, you may only be able to mount it horizontally. With the location of the magsafe on the iPhone it’s a bit too long in relation to the mount and your dash. Something to keep in mind for your car model and mounting location.
Otherwise a solid purchase with a sturdy grip.

Magnet is strong and holds my phone perfectly, still easy enough to pull off, but never comes off the magnet accidentally. The adhesive is great too, never had any issues with it coming unstuck or getting too hot. The magnet itself does get hot if the car is hot, and in turn can overheat your phone if you use it at the heated temperature. Cools off fairly quickly if you can get AC blowing on it

Funciona perfecto con el magsafe del iPhone, tengo un iPhone 13 Pro Max (que es de los modelos mas pesados que ha hecho Apple) y lo soporta muy bien. Estaba buscando algo como esto porque a veces no me funciona el Carplay en el carro y necesito ver los mapas. Tengo un Kia Forte 2023 y sí fue difícil saber donde posicionarlo en el tablero porque no quedaba bien casi en nigun lado ya que el tablero no es plano, donde lo puse voy a tener que usar el celular en modo horizontal para que quepa.

I love this phone mount so much I purchased another for my new car. I’ve had those phone mounts that clamp to your cars air vents, but it would fall off all the time, or my phone would flop forward because the mounts were just poor quality.
This one is different. The adhesive that attached the mount to the dash is super strong. I’ve used it on the faux wood paneling(plastic) on my Town and Country van, and on the pebble textured dash on my Yukon. Both are very strongly adhered with the included adhesive.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro with MagSafe, and a phone case that also has a MagSafe piece on the back. My phone is super secure, and has never fallen off the mount. I love that there is a large range of motion and wherever I adjust it, it stays in place.
