My boat seats look almost like new after using this product. Easier than using car wax on a car and I was impressed with the results. My boat gets scorched by the sun and the seats now look awesome.

I love Collinite wax. There’s a reason it is very well regarded in detailing / auto / boat circles, so I was stoked to see this cleaner / conditioner / protector come up in my Vine offers, and I jumped at the chance to review it.
I was initially quite disappointed – mostly because I was surprised it wasn’t awesome! – so I didn’t post a review immediately. I’ve now used several times in several different ways, and it’s… ok.
The biggest drawback, and the reason I couldn’t give it more than 3 star review, is that it has strong “chemical-y” smell, so it’s not something that works well for car interiors… or anything else you’re going to be too close to. It dissipated quickly enough, but it was just unpleasant to work with, compared to other options.
And making that a real show stopper? It wasn’t particularly effective as a cleaner or conditioner. It wasn’t bad, really, just not good enough to overcome the negatives of the odor.
So, if you have outdoor awnings, maybe outdoor boat vinyl/”leather”, etc, this might work for you. I’ll leave that to each individual shopper to decide for themselves.
But if you’re going to use it inside a car, or on any jackets, say, etc… there are significantly better options — more effective cleaning with similar unpleasant odors, like some cheap all purpose cleaners, will clean better, more conditioning / pleasant-to-work-with options like other, leather-focused products.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review — and good luck with your cleaning and detailing projects!

All there stuff is awesome

This leather and vinyl cleaner gave my modular sofa a nice shine and softer feel after one light application. It is a long cleaning project from start to finish but the results are satisfying. There is a slight odor to the solution but that’s normal for a leather cleaner. Good value for a 2-pack. This will last a long time.

It’s a good product but I’m disappointed because I got the product with the top on tightened and some product was spilt

This is Avery good cleaner and wax. It is applied in a similar way to car wax. Apply with clean towel, let dry and buff with microfiber.
It provides a nice shine and actually has a bit of a slick finish. Not too slick but just right.

Does an excellent job of cleaning the leather and conditioning it

I have treating all the vinyl on my SeaRay with this for the past years. It really provides a wax like protective coating. Before I started using it I had been concerned about u.v. protection, so I called the Collinite and spoke to a tech rep and he explained to me that the product actually provides very good u.v. protection. From my experience, I have every reason to believe that is correct. The vinyl looks great after you buff the wax out, which is not hard, and there is no greasy or sticky feel. The best. Why none of my local marine supply stores stock this particular product is a mystery to me.
