Does not fit 2015 Toyota Corolla – screws on but down not “click” so sealing quality is suspect – if it leaks or does not vent you’ll get engine trouble codes set ——— Amazon refunded me thankfully

I’ve put oring lube and a few other products to get the seal to work but it’s does seal. Terrible product

During a routine check at my car dealer for the source of some warning lights on my dash, I was told that my gas cap failed some kind of test and was not sealing properly. They offered to replace it for around $350. Somehow, that didn’t sound right to me and when I started looking around, it was pretty obvious that was way out of line.
After ordering this gas cap, I installed it in under a minute and saved myself a lot of money. The cap fit exactly and the warning lights have not reappeared.
It pays to double-check and question the cost of recommended fixes at your car dealer!

Do not buy cap was defective out of the box did not click or seal the fill line causing and engine light to come on replaced with oem Toyota cap

No blame on vendor for not fitting , they don’t list the GX470 as a fit but I justed looked at the 4Runner and FG Cruiser and assumed compatibility as there is much cross compatibility between these models and a GX . If you go to vendors page you can find the GX470 cap is also available from them.
