I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years buying detailing products. This clay mitt is amazing. I paired it with an iron remover as a lubricant on the paint, and it now feels like ice. I’ve seriously never had a car feel so slick. 10/10 for the price and product

Auto appena ritirata dal concessionario e sapendo i pessimi prodotti che utilizzano per preparare le macchine alla consegna ho deciso di metterci mano da solo con un insieme di passaggi per renderla più lucida e più protetta. Dopo un lavaggio accurato con prodotti dedicati, la macchina aveva bisogno di essere decontaminata e questo guanto è stato davvero fantastico. con l ausilio di una adeguata lubrificazione, ho usato Fast Cleaner di Mafra, e con un po di olio di gomito ho tolto tutte le contaminazioni che la macchina aveva anche se nuova. Molto soddisfatto poi la cosa comoda a confronto con la clay bar è che se ti cade a terra per errore basta lavare il guanto sotto l’acqua corrente e torna come nuova, la clay bar la devi per forza buttare. Super consigliato

TL;DR worked great and I’d buy again.
I watched all the YT videos on claying a car as I had never done. I never needed to before moving to a large city with quite a bit of road pollution that settles on the cars and won’t come off in a car wash. It felt like tree sap, except it wasn’t.
My vehicle is not a show car by any means, I just want it to look decent.
From the videos the clay bars are more effective, but the clay mitt is easier (there’s always a trade off).
I picked this one because it had good reviews and gave it a try (a lot of the YT videos are either done my the company selling a product or the person is putting in affiliate links to make money so I’m skeptical).
I washed the vehicle and used the soapy water as the lubricant for the mitt (I don’t see the need to buy an expensive spray) and went over the car panel by panel with fairly light pressure – didn’t want to mess up my paint while learning. It worked just as hoped and the paint looked and felt great after. Remember to used a back and forth motion (not circular) to avoid swirls.
Went surprisingly quick and I’m very happy with the results.

I got this since I am getting ready to fully detail my car. I attempted to claybar part of the roof but the constant folding, turning over etc was time consuming and you only had a small square to work with. I purchased this on Amazon and it is a time saver and works great if used correctly. First wash the car with good ph balanced soap (I use all Chemical Guy products) dry and then doing a section at a time, spray some lube onto surface and then in straight lines run the mitt back and forth, do not use a circular motion (this goes for any type of cleaning, washing etc). If you use a circular motion and happen to pick up a small bit of grit, it will put a bunch of circular scratches in the clear coat. Just use a straight back and forth, don’t do like those guys in the video that is not correct, if in doubt look it up, many videos out there showing the correct method to detail your car.

I decided on this mitt as it was the only one i could find with a fine surface. After watching several videos on using this over a clay bar I gave it a try using soapy water. It worked beautifully leaving a completely smooth finish with no streaks or scratches on the finish of my 2011 Expedition. I was able to completely wipe down the whole vehicle in less than 20 minutes.

Works okay, it just feels weird when using, get it a little warm in the sun first, go gently!!! It will stick to itself and everything else like sand dirt pebbles so do NOT drop it lol! If you do you can get it clean again with some warm water and soap. I prefer natural clay.

I like that it’s 2 sided. You can wash and a clay a section as you move around the vehicle. Easier to use than clay.
