Seems like a good product. I bought to use on a portable wideband for tuning, it is good quality. The bad part it is very tight is the socket and will pull the socket out of the vehicle. At least it is not loose and cutting power to my wideband during tuning, still using it and satisfied. I did pull the spring out and stretch it and cut it to get rid of some spring tension

Knew when I ordered these I knew that the 20 amp rating was pushing the limits of 16 Ga wire.
Ad claims 20 amps. This is 16 gauge wire of reasonable quality about 3 feet long.
Automotive specs say 16 Ga. can be used for 20 amps on runs 2.9 feet with a voltage drop of 2% at 12 volts. At 11 feet the rating drops to 5 amps. I would never fuse this for more than 15 amps.
It was supplied with three spare fuses, two 15 amp and one 20 amp. The 20 went in my spares box.
The plug seems to be very ridged and the spring tension on both negative and positive is very good.
The fly in the ointment here is when you remove the fuse everything falls to pieces. Neither the spring
nor the positive “button” end is captive. If you change the fuse in the car you will likely have something
go missing. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Ring terminals are decent, soldering is well done. There is a piece of heat shrink on the cable to prevent the two wires from separating. As supplied the heat shrink is not shrunk yet. For me this is a good thing as it allows you to separate the two conductors for you needs, then you shrink them to prevent further separation. Also included is a small zip tie to allow you keep any excess length coiled up. I purchased three of these for quick lash ups, and would not hesitate to buy more.

I used this to power a curt trailer wiring converter on a VW, used power port interior rear 1/4 to power lights. This was a good piece and it works great. Indicator light very handy

All I can say is that this works for my project, and it’s a good thing it comes with 3 fuses (1 pre-installed + 2 spares). It took me several minutes of head scratching to figure out that the reason why my LED lights weren’t lighting up was because this plug came with the fuse already blown. That, or it broke during shipping. Either way, I now have only 1 spare fuse.

Bought this to plug a 600W power inverter to car system at “cigarette lighter” socket in case we get a power outage at the house. Came with several fuses, 20A, 15A. Should be good for 250W max from the inverter which would temporarily run our TV, a lamp or two plus the fireplace fan. Will have to keep the car running in the driveway to avoid draining the battery. This device seems well made, hefty with thick wires about 3 feet long. You can use the ring terminals, bend them up or snip them off to connect to whatever you need it for.

The plug is well made, and it is heavy duty, including the wire. I needed a replacement plug for a power inverter plug that was damaged. I also needed to extend the power cord to allow the inverter to be used in the back seat of my SUV. This cord worked perfectly. I cut off the ends, soldered the wire to the inverter’s existing wire, then sealed it with heat-shrink tubing. So far this plug is holding up great.
