We have a 2000 Saab 9-3 convertible whose roof had started to leak. Rain would puddle up when parked and it didn’t take long before it seeped through, wet the headliner and started to drip on the seats etc. Since I can’t always control when it gets driven I finally had to research a solution. After considering several other offerings I chose Chemical Guys. I applied 3 light coatings. It took a while but the other day I finally had a good chance to test it out. I had to take it to work and while parked it absolutely poured for several hours. Poured such that the weather alarm on my iPhone went off several time warning of flash flooding.
I was more than thrilled that when I left for home the rain had not seeped through and wet the headliner at all! I couldn’t be more impressed with this product. No fancy labels but the stuff just works. If you need to water proof your convertible top, I HIGHLY recommend this product. One of the few times 5 starts isn’t enough.

I don’t know how it works after you get dirt on the seat because hopefully I will never get dirt on my new car seat. However, it went nicely on. . I left it on overnight and in the morning you couldn’t even tell it was on. I waited for the next night to put on a second coat, I could only find one spray I would like to have seen at least two. My husband likes the company he uses that particular brand for many things and he’s very smart so if he likes it, I like it.

Effective at protecting fabric from dirt, stains, and UV rays
Leaves no residue
Clear and odorless
Cons:
Can be a bit expensive if you are coating multiple items.
Two coats did not seem to product very well overall
Not as effective at protecting fabric from mud as some other products
I’d recommend 2 bottles for any projects bigger than 3 Hats or or couple pairs of shoes.
I ended up ordering Creep Protect and i was blown away.

I sprayed this in my new minivan 2 years ago, I spilled coffee on it last week. A lot of coffee. It beaded-up, did not soak into the fabric. It was like a commercial. All the coffee wiped up easily. No stain whatsoever. I am sold on Chemical Guys. This company is the truth. I have a 4.5 and 3 year old. They have not been able to stain my seats. I also use their dash cleaner (smells gently like pineapple) and air freshener. I get Comments all the time on how new my car smells. I bought more fabric protector for my 2 new area rugs (both 8×6) I know this stuff will keep my rugs well protected from my rough and tumble kids. I am so glad they are on amazon as their closest shop it over 2 hrs from me.
