This review is for the CAT Clarity Premium Performance All Season OEM Replacement Windshield Wiper Blades in 22 inch size. My drivers side is 22″ and my passenger is 18″. I would love to see a multi-pack by them that had both sizes as an option.
These were easy enough to install. My car has j-loop wiper hooks and that is what comes pre-installed on the wipers so that was nice. They installed a little differently than other brands I have used in the past. The mechanism that the j-loop connected to felt a little flimsy to me honestly. It took more power than I am used to giving to get it to snap in, but it did snap in and seems to hold well. This did cause me to review the directions just to make sure I was doing it right at first.
They come with a plastic protector on the rubber blade that is bright green/yellow so it is very obvious it needs to be pulled off. There were no major issues I noticed with the product. I feel like maybe they could be attached better but that is because I have seen more secure looking attachments in the past I guess. They are not subjected to much stress so it will be fine I’m sure.
They cleaned my window just fine. No issues like noise or jumping/hopping. Smooth operation the whole way.

I put this on my gf’s 2013 Honda Civic and it fits just fine. It is not rated for it, however. I do notice that this blade does wipe better than her old one. Not sure if the old one is just old or if this one is really that much better. Either way, it works great in the rain.

I used this blade on my Suzuki SX4 and it fit perfectly. It is very easy to install using the provided instructions. Construction-wise, it is well made and I expect it to last a pretty decent amount of time. It works as expected doing a good job in moving both water and snow from the windshield keeping the view clear. Being a single piece like this, it means that you have less worry about the wiper not flexing properly in colder environments and seems to do a great job at adjusting its position to lay properly against the glass all of the time.

I love the low profile on this wiper blade. I drive a Honda Odyssey whose front nose is shorter than other cars and I end up parking too far from the curb for this reason. The low profile on the wipers really helps to see the front edge of the car. Streak free performance too at a very reasonable price.

I didn’t know CAT made wipers until this one was sent for review. I have been using silicone wipers on my vehicles. I am reviewing this conventional one however on a 10 Ton excavator. It is about half the price of silicone but still a little more expensive than the average rubber wiper. I can say that the quality of it is very good. It conforms and fits to the windshield perfectly. In this application it has to lay flay rather than curved. It does so with good pressure at all points on the wiper. It wipes and leaves a clean sweep. It seems durable too. There are most of the major attachment adapters included. Overall an excellent quality wiper blade for any CAT fan.

This windshield wiper worked so nicely on my dad’s Honda, I ended up buying a pair for my mom’s car. I definitely prefer these newer beam style blades over the classic blades with all the little hinges. Beam blades are a bit weird, they don’t seem like they should work as well as they do but they work great. They keep a nice even pressure along the entire length so contact with the windshield is consistent throughout the whole swipe motion and the blades themselves look nicer – a bit more sleek and modern. They don’t collect leaves and debris like old style blades tend to do either. These blades were easy to install, it took less than a minute to replace each of the old wiper blades.

I got this to replace an older wiper on a smart 2013 driver side wiper. Note that on the smart, the driver and passenger side wipers are different sizes! The previous wiper was an OEM (rain-X) which worked well for many years, but was starting to skip and leave water behind even after cleaning.
The wiper has a nice solid spring to it, and flexes well. The instruction manual that comes with it shows about 8 different connection types, and how to connect each. The default connector is the standard J-type adapter, since it’s the most common one on most US vehicles. This having the OE3 connecter is part of why I went for this one, since it means it can fit a larger selection, including most EU imports.
Replacing the J-type connector was a little interesting, since they don’t clearly show how to in the instructions. It’s simple enough to figure out though: There’s a small push lever on the side, which one can pull upward to release a small holder pin on the blade. While that’s lifted, slide the wiper forward and it unlocks from the adapter. Reverse the process to get the OE3 adapter on, and you’re set to follow the instruction sheet for connecting it to your vehicle.
The wiper itself works quite well. It wipes well, gets all the water off the window, and neither skips nor makes loud thudding noises. I’m looking forward to see how it works over the coming years. I find that most wipers last around 3 to 5 years here, since the weather (specifically ice and snow) tends to eventually cause them to wear down and deform.
